INTRODUCTION

Capital Air has, since 1988, been successfully utilising vehicle tracking systems to facilitate vehicle tracking and recovery operations. Capital Air has been searching and developing (along with our extensive knowledge) the most reliable and affordable technology to create the most premier vehicle tracking systems accessible on the market. It is our pleasure to inform you of the new developments taking place with our current products and services.

STING UNIT

The "Quick Sting", "Quick Sting Plus" and related products are GSM and RF-based vehicle tracking systems devised to simplify and rapidly decrease the time needed to recover your hi-jacked or stolen vehicle.

These "state-of-the-art" systems utilize the most extensive communication network available and together with CAPITAL AIR'S experienced ground and air teams, ensure a superior recovery infrastructure throughout South Africa and its neighbouring countries.

We have identified new compound specifications that will better facilitate our client's needs and add to the current features of Capital Air's vehicle tracking and recovery products. The new additions are as follows:

STING III - FLEET

(CAN BE MODIFIED FOR PRIVATE USE - UPON REQUEST)

This is a high - level fleet management tool which utilises Global Positioning Satellite (GPS) information to provide accurate positioning and includes a fully integrated recovery system. It offers a wide range of technological features and functionality, which is designed and produced in strict accordance with the highest quality standards to enhance the efficiency of road haulage.

The in - vehicle hardware is responsible for the recognition of the following data inputs:

	4 Digital Inputs (e.g. Trailer Hitch, Cargo Doors, etc.)
	2 Analogue Inputs (e.g. Engine Temperature, provided suitable monitoring equipment is supplied and calibrated to interface between the vehicle and STING III FLEET system).

Management of data input includes the following:

	The data input is either transmitted immediately via SMS or the system records a status change and reports it along with all other recorded information in batches. Communication with the vehicle is established via the GSM Network ensuring extensive National Coverage.
	A SMS message is routed to the vehicle and generates a response, which includes date and time, location, speed, status and direction.
	Once all the information has been received, the Capital Software extracts the information and places it onto a map to provide the client with the vitally needed information.
	The data can then be delivered to the client via data delivery links such as a diginet line, dial-up networking or an internet link. This immediate reception avoids delays and loss of vital information. Capital also backs up data for up to 30 days providing the client with historical data on request. Historical movement of the vehicle is obtained with the recording of the vehicle's position at regular intervals.
	Certain STING III FLEET features can be programmed to report back as emergencies. For example, should the vehicle's trailer become unhitched, it would be flagged as an emergency on both the Capital System and the client's system.

ADDITIONAL PRODUCTS

HELI-BEEP UNIT

The HELI-BEEP unit can be used to supplement existing systems installed, to assist with vehicle recovery operations. It also serves as a back-up system should the primary system become inoperative, for whatever reason. The HELI-BEEP system also provides a relatively inexpensive option for recovering trailers carrying valuable and/or sensitive loads. The HELI-BEEP system makes use of a passive transmitter which is independent and does not interact with the crisis centre or base station, but is tracked during vehicle recovery utilising an audio signal. The tracking of the transmitter is done by helicopter.

The HELI-BEEP is a very reliable and easy system to use. Many of our clients use this transmitter as a back up too more sophisticated systems.

The HELI-BEEP transmitter has a battery pack, which will last approximately 18 months and is ideal for trailers. The system can also be connected to the battery of the vehicle, which will serve as a charger of the transmitter battery.

Our company technician will inspect the transmitter from time to time, to ensure that the system is fully serviceable.

The system can also be tracked into neighbouring countries the most important factor being that we must be notified of the hi-jacked/stolen vehicle as soon as possible.

BASE STATION EQUIPMENT

The Base Station equipment has proven to be highly effective when used by cliental wanting to perform their "own-vehicle-polling". This system can run via the internet, or by using a digi-net line. Other options, such as the Buy-router, are available should you require a 24hr connection.
